What are Qualified Charitable Distributions?

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) are distributions made directly from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to a qualified nonprofit organization such as Pristine Mind Foundation.

For eligible donors, QCDs may be excluded from taxable income and may count toward all or part of a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). QCDs can be a meaningful way to support the work and mission of Pristine Mind Foundation.

Who is Eligible?

Individuals age 70½ and older may be eligible to make charitable distributions directly from an IRA to Pristine Mind Foundation.

How do I get started?

To make a Qualified Charitable Distribution to Pristine Mind Foundation, download this letter of instruction, fill it out, and give it to your IRA trustee or financial institution.

For questions, please contact [email protected].

Please consult your financial or tax advisor and IRA provider to determine whether a Qualified Charitable Distribution is appropriate for your circumstances and to confirm current requirements.
