Daylong Meditation Retreat with Anam Thubten and Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche

June 10, 2023

Daylong Meditation Retreat with Anam Thubten and Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche

We often live unconsciously, lost in thoughts and feelings. In this state, we may experience a variety of internal problems such as anxiety, fear or anger. And yet, if we bring awareness into our daily lives we are able to find ways to stop identifying with our mental habits. Then we can experience joy and peace and, eventually, the profound epiphany of dropping into the unconditioned.

In this retreat, Anam Thubten and Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche will co-teach, sharing the experience and knowledge of timeless Buddhist wisdom.

Anam Thubten grew up in Tibet and at an early age began to practice in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the founder and spiritual advisor of Dharmata Foundation, teaching widely in the US, Europe and Asia. He is the author of several books, including Embracing Each Moment, No Self, No Problem, and The Citadel of Awareness. Through sharing his wisdom and personal experience on the spiritual path, Anam Thubten brings alive the timeless teachings of Buddhism. For more information: www.dharmata.org

Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche is a meditation master in the Nyingma lineage of the Buddhist tradition. He studied for nine years at Larung Gar in Serta, Eastern Tibet, with his teacher, Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche, who is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest Dzogchen meditation masters of the twentieth century. A long-time resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche is the founder and spiritual director of Pristine Mind Foundation and the author of Our Pristine Mind: A Practical Guide to Unconditional Happiness.
