For a number of years, Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche has expressed an interest in holding a longer and more intensive meditation retreat to provide an opportunity for people to experience the transformative benefits of longer periods of meditation. Rinpoche often talks about these benefits and has explained that to deepen and gain confidence in meditation so that our practice can affect our lives in the most positive ways, it is important to meditate for longer periods of time.

This 5-day retreat will allow participants to deepen and develop their experience by meditating together with Rinpoche in this special more intensive retreat format. Rinpoche may choose to have participants remain in silence for some portions of the retreat.

Participants must attend the entire 5 days of the retreat.

This is a multi-day intensive meditation retreat. Prior experience with meditation is highly recommended.
